Choose the stop before you choose the time

The Golden Tours lights tour has three departure areas. Your chosen booking option determines which one to use; they are not interchangeable boarding stops on a hop-on/hop-off circuit. Use the exact address on your voucher, then check the operator’s map before travelling.

London Eye: Belvedere Road

The operator lists the tourist bus stop on Belvedere Road, London SE1 7NA, beside Jubilee Gardens near the London Eye. This is an outdoor bus meeting point, not the London Eye attraction queue. The operator says this tour returns to its starting point, making it useful if the rest of your evening is based around the South Bank.

Victoria: Buckingham Palace Road

Go to Golden Tours Stop 8, Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria SW1W 9SZ. Do not go to Victoria Coach Station: the operator explicitly distinguishes the two. Allow time to leave the railway station and locate the street stop. Golden Tours asks guests to arrive 15 minutes before departure.

The early-departure exception: the GetYourGuide listing says the 4:15pm Victoria departure does not drive along Oxford Street. Choose another departure if that street is essential, and still check for current diversions.

Green Park: Piccadilly

The tourist bus stop is outside Green Park Underground station, London W1J 9DZ, on the same side of Piccadilly as The Ritz. The operator places it roughly 30 metres from the hotel’s frontage. Use the tour voucher to confirm the stop rather than joining an unrelated sightseeing queue nearby.

Where does the tour go?

The featured listing advertises Regent Street, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and the Strand, with London landmarks along the way. Treat this as a sightseeing outline. Departure-specific maps differ, road closures may force changes, and the tour does not promise photo stops or admission to any attraction.

For the current map, use the Golden Tours route-map links and schedule. Its London Eye, Victoria and Green Park PDFs are more useful than a generic map of all Christmas lights. Visit London also links to the departure maps, including the distinct 4:15pm Victoria route.

Other tours start elsewhere

The Classic Tour’s vintage Routemaster meets outside the Grand Hotel at 8 Northumberland Avenue, WC2N 5BY. Its guaranteed top-deck ticket does not give access to a Golden Tours bus. TransporaBus’s vintage, open-top, Santa-themed and Lights & Bites tours use Embankment Stop 40b, WC2N 6PB. Check the exact product name when boarding: sharing an operator and stop does not make the tickets interchangeable.

If you want to explore on foot afterwards, keep the bus route and your walking plan separate. Walking lets you pause at windows or return for a photograph, while the bus follows its own route. Leave flexibility after the ride instead of building a tight connection around the advertised running time.

Victoria Coach Station, Big Bus and the shorter ride

Premium Tours departs Victoria Coach Station, 164 Buckingham Palace Road, SW1W 9TP. This is different from the Golden Tours street stop. Big Bus offers Stop 12 beside the Lion Statue outside Marriott County Hall at London Eye, or Stop 1 by The Ritz and Green Park Tube entrance; arrive 15 minutes early and use your selected departure.

See London By Night gives W1J 9DZ as its meeting postcode. Obtain the exact boarding stop from your voucher. Its important information explicitly excludes Oxford Street and Knightsbridge, despite broader wording elsewhere in the listing. Plan a separate visit if either street is essential to your evening.
